Grants and Scholarships
As Eaglesvale Alumni, we believe in empowering future generations through education. Grants and scholarships are financial resources designed to help students thrive, but they serve different purposes:
- Grants are need-based funds awarded to students facing financial challenges.
- Scholarships are merit-based awards given to students who excel academically, athletically, or in other fields.
Our mission to fund opportunities
The Eaglesvale Alumni Association is committed to making education accessible to all deserving students. Through grants and scholarships, we aim to provide:
- Financial Support: Relieving the burden of tuition fees and related expenses.
- Opportunity Access: Helping talented students reach their potential, regardless of financial circumstances.
- Future Building: Investing in students who will carry forward the Eaglesvale legacy.
How We Build Resources
To fund these vital initiatives, the alumni association is working to establish a robust pool of resources. This involves:
- Creating an Alumni Endowment Fund: A sustainable source for awarding grants and scholarships.
- Collaborating with Donors: Partnering with individuals and organizations to expand our impact.
- Appealing to Old Valians: Encouraging our alumni community to contribute generously and regularly.

Advantages of funding your education through external opportunities
Expanded Financial Support
External scholarships and grants often cover a wider range of educational expenses, including tuition, housing, and books. Securing additional funding can significantly reduce the financial burden of further education.
Prestige and Recognition
Winning a competitive grant or scholarship from a well-known organization can enhance your resume, demonstrating your dedication, merit, and potential to future employers or academic institutions.
Diverse Learning Opportunities
Many scholarships and grants are tied to specific programs, research opportunities, or institutions, allowing recipients to access unique academic and professional experiences not available elsewhere.
