The Eaglesvale Alumni, upon the invitation of the school headmaster and board chair, attended the Eaglesvale School Commissioning of 2 new school buses and classrooms in the Junior School. Dr. Grace Gwitira, Miss Abigail Mabika, and Mr. Daniel Kufaruwenga represented the alumni event at this honorable ceremony.

In his speech, the headmaster, Mr. Dennis Anderson highlighted the role and importance of alumni in the growth and development of the school. The alumni were welcomed warmly by booth the board chair, board members, and staff. The board chair Mr. Winston Makamure emphasised that students, teacher and staff of Eaglesvale school automatically become part of alumni upon leading the school. He also highlighted the importance of joining the alumni association.

The event was punctuated by a hearty lunch followed by us taking a brief tour of the school. “What I cherished most about this event was the moment when we, along with the current students, sang the school song. I was at the school for 6 years— practically growing up there. That moment of singing brought back many memories and brought tears to my eyes”, said Dr. Grace Gwitira, Alumni Chair.
