Old Valian, Mathew P Mangana was the Guest Speaker at the 2022 Speech Night. In his address he reflected on the deeply cherished value of service denoted by the Afrikaans word “Diens” in the school motto. The message of service beyond self and faithfulness in the little things resonated throughout the address. Valians were challenged to inspire and serve others diligently within their own spheres of influence.
